First International Level One Clinic from ETBF

ETBF Education Committee proudly announces that we will have our first International Coaching Clinic for Level One Coaches between 7 and 12 May 2010. After running many National Clinics in different countries, ETBF cooperates with its Official Training Center, Kuortane Bowling Training Center to host the first scheduled International Clinic for all of our Federations.

 

Our instructors will present you the latest updated ETBF Level One coaching program in 30 hours during 4 days.

Information about Level One Clinic

 

Clinic Program: ETBF Level One
Clinic Dates: 7-12 May. (May 7 – Check-In, May 8-11 – Clinics, may 12 Check-Out )
Place: Kuortane Bowling Training Center (ETBF Official Training Center) in Kuortane High Performance Olympic Training Center in Kuortane, Finland. All accommodation, clinics and meals will be held within the same facility.
Language: English
Clinic Fee:  €700 per person. The fee includes Clinic Fee, 5 days of Hotel Accommodation and 3 Meals a day (breakfast-lunch-dinner). It also includes all fees related to use facilities within the Kuortane High Performance Olympic Training Center (such as classrooms, gym, etc.). All payments will be done to ETBF.
Last Day of Registration: April 15, 2010.
Arrival: By air: The nearest domestic Airport is SEINÄJOKI (55 km/40 min. by car from Kuortane) and the nearest international airport is VAASA (120 km/1,5 hours by car from Kuortane). You can also fly to Helsinki and get the train to Seinäjoki (appr. 3 hours from Helsinki to Seinäjoki) There are many trains and flights daily from Helsinki to Seinäjoki and back. Our guests may be taken from Seinäjoki and group pick-up may be organized from Helsinki by demand.

 

 
More about our Clinics

In 2010, ETBF will be providing Level One and Level Two programs for our federations. Our programs are updated with the latest information of modern bowling sport and they are supported by our partners Kuortane Bowling Training Center, USBC, Kegel Training Center and Ebonite.

ETBF provides two types of coaching clinics for the federations; National and International. If you wish to host a clinic nationally our instructors visit your country and run the clinic. We also started to provide scheduled International Clinics where your Coaching candidates can visit our Official Training Center, Kuortane and enter the clinics.

The organizer of the 2nd Pavlovskiy Posad Open announces the name of the tournament to be changed to Russian Open. The tournament will, unchanged, be conducted on 13-18 September 2011 as Stop 16 in the European Bowling Tour 2011.

Ivan Semenov is the winner of 1st Pavlovskiy Posad Open The 1st Pavlovskiy Posad Open was a newcomer on the European Bowling Tour and the first tournament in Russia in the 11-year history of the Tour. The 1st Pavlovskiy Posad Open was held from Sept. 14-19, 2010 at B-35 Bowling Center, a 14-laner in Pavlovskiy Posad, a city of approx. 65,000 people some 70 kilometers East of Russia's capital city of Moscow.

QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup moves to the French Riviera QubicaAMF has announced that the 46th Bowling World Cup will not be held in Zagreb, Croatia, but in Toulon, on the French Riviera, from October 15-24, 2010. Toulon lies on the western end of the Cote d'Azur on the Mediterranean.


President's Silver Jubilee (13.7.2010)

President ETBF celebrated a true Silver Jubilee to day, Saturday 3 July 2010, since the President in ETBF, Addie Ophelders, was elected for his first term in the Presidium, in those days as Vice President, for precisely 25 years ago.
